К проблеме перевода русских антропонимов на чешский язык

Статья направлена на изучение антропонимов в произведениях Н. В. Гоголя. "Вий" и "Ревизор". Внимание уделяется семантике имен и ее связи авторской концепцией. Приводятся примеры ассоциаций, которые может из антропонимов извлекать чешский читатель. Решается вопрос о точности перевода по отношению к aвторской концепции.

The paper discusses the anthroponyms in literary works by Nikolay Gogol: "Viy" and "The Inspector-General". Attention is given to the semantics of names and their relationship with the author's concept. Associations that a Czech reader may derive from the Gogol's anthroponyms are exemplified. We pose the problem of conformity of the names' translation to the original author's intent.
