Paměti jako pramen autenticity: Z ďalekých ciest Alexandra Macha

Autor ukazuje na význam memoárů ministra vnitra první Slovenské republiky Alexandra Macha a sleduje jejich věcnou, poetologickou a žánrovou rovinu s poukazem na problematiku geneze textu a jeho edici. Kromě literární hodnoty je to pramen k studiu politického proudu, který je významný, nikoli okrajový jak v slovenské minulosti, tak i současnosti, zejména z českého hlediska. Slovenské stanovisko kontinuity nebo diskontinuity s první Slovenskou republikou je dodnes značně ambivalentní, což symbolicky podporuje samo kontinuální označování první a druhé republiky.

The author presents the significance of the memoirs of the minister of internal affairs of the first Slovak Republic Alexander Mach analysing its pramatic, poetological and genre level stressing the genesis of the text and its edition. Besides its literary value it represents the source for the study of the political stream which is important, not marginal both in the Slovak past and in the Slovak present, especially from the Czech point of view. The contemporary Slovak approach to the continuity or discontinuity with the first Slovak Republic is considerably ambivalent up to now which is symbolically supported by the continual designation of the first and the second republic itself.
