Identifikace a predikace úspěšnosti u nadaných a talentovaných jedinců

Presented article shows possible methodological problems in identification process of gifted population. Possible problems are grouped in the following areas: definition of "talent" and "giftedness', criteria for selections, definition of population, measuring instruments used for identification and prediction of giftedness. Key researches who systematically work in this field, as well as main theoretical conclusions and statements are presented. The article leads to the conclusion, that the identification is very important process, which should take a place of considerable importance.
