Abstract(s)
The article presents the minor group of Anabaptists which settled down in South Moravia in 1527/1528 under the leadership of Gabriel Ascherham. Ascherham came from Bavaria and acquired his shepherd's authority at the Swiss Brethren in South Germany. However, most of his followers came from Silesia. After hard persecution in Silesia, the Gabrielites moved to South Moravia and formed their community in Rosice.
