Abstract(s)
Število (diplomskih) študentov t.i. malih jezikov vseeno upada, to pa gre verjetno pripisati predvsem drugačnemu principu izbiranja študija zaradi recesije.
Language study is organized in different ways and different academic units. The most common key is belonging to a language group, but in recent times there are also (due to savings and/or seeking a more attractive study programs) also new forms of integration: cultural and geographical areal. However, number of students of the so-called small languages is decreasing – it is mainly due to a different, more rational principle of selection of study in times of recession. This should be also considered when planning the future of lectorates.
