Abstract(s)
This recording of an interview with Professor Miloš Stehlík from 2007 is part of a broader project aiming to describe, with the help of personal testimonies, some specific features of the history of the Department of Art History in Brno against the background of the atmosphere of the times, from the end of the Second World War until the end of the 1980s. The main areas the authors were interested in were questions of formal and informal relationships between teachers and pupils, and the influence of conditions in society or political ideologies on the functioning of the Department or on the scholarly activities of its members. In some cases, in addition to these issues, themes were considered relating to the personal values of the interviewees in relation to their professional careers. Together with the interview we are publishing an updated bibliography of the scholarly works of Prof. Miloš Stehlík from the period 2006–2013.
