Today we can find postmodern tendency also in fairytale. Shrek (book and movie) is a perfect example – it is opening gallery of postmodern elements – from grotesque, absurdity, irony and parody to intertextuality. Story about ogre Shrek serves us different (update) view at fairy tale genre.
