Abstract(s)
In the present study the numerals of Siberian Eskimos recorded by Jan "Eskimo" Welzl are analyzed in context of the "Arctic" languages, wide-spread from Greenland to the archipelago Novaja Zemľa, concretely Eskaleutan, Chukcho-Koryak, Yukaghir, Yakutic, North Samoyedic & Selkup. The answer is unambiguously negative, i.e. there is no correlation with any of the studied numeral systems.
