Podstatné ostáva to, že kultúra a jej tvorivé osobnosti obstáli v bilingválnom prostredí a rozširujú svoje národné a kultúrne povedomie v globalizovanom svete. Nie je nezvyčajne, ale nie je to ani tak zvláštne, keď sa v literárnom národnom priestore stretne matka a dcéra v role úspešnej spisovateľky. The contribution deals with literuture of Lusatian Sorbs, its development, personalities and problems. The problems of Slavic minority culture within the Germanic cultural context in the course of its development have been connected with a variety of social restrictions. However, it is essential that culture and its creative personalities have been able to succeed in bilingual environment and to widen their national and cultural awareness in a globalized world. It is neither unusual nor special when in a literary national space mother and daughter meet in the role of a successful writer. The definition of genre, theme and poetics is the subject of an explanation of their place in literature of Lusatian Sorbs.
