Abstract(s)
Cílem tohoto článku je prozkoumat problém, jak nejlépe chápat pojem informační gramotnosti (IG) ve vysokoškolském prostředí, aby tak mohlo být zajištěno, že jakýkoli model, jenž budeme používat, je vyhovující a je schopen účinně podpořit výuku a učení IG. Podstata tohoto problému vyvstala při poskytování poradenství jedné z univerzit ve Velké Británii, k němuž byla autorka přizvána, aby doporučila vhodný rámec IG pro využívání ze strany studentů ve speciálně vytvořeném Virtuálním výukovém prostředí (VLE - Virtual Learning Environment). Tato zpráva popisuje cestu, kterou autorka podstoupila, aby hlouběji porozuměla povaze informační gramotnosti, a mohla tedy vhodný rámec vytvořit. Cesta zahrnovala zvážení důležitých principů učení, postavení reflexe u studentů při učení se být informačně gramotným, dále toho, co by měla IG ve vysokoškolském vzdělávání zahrnovat, důležitost kontextu při vývoji IG a vliv digitálního prostředí, obzvláště webu 2.0. Posuzovány byly hlavní rysy nejběžnějších rámců IG používané ve vysokoškolském vzdělávání. Předložen je nový rámec IG spolu s vysvětlením své podoby a použití. Není však odpovědí nebo plánem, ale výzvou ke kritické reflexi současné teorie a praxe. Závěrem autorka uvádí návrhy pro budoucí výzkum.
