Abstrakt(y)
Prezentovaná štúdia vychádza z dispozičného prístupu ku sebakontrole, v ktorom je sebakontrola vnímaná ako relatívne stabilná črta osobnosti. Cieľom výskumu bolo zachytenie vzťahu sebakontroly a slovnoasociačnej produkcie. Vzorku tvorilo 81 respondentov vo veku 20–25 rokov s priemerným vekom 22 rokov. Bol použitý Dotazník sebakontroly (Tangney, Baumeister, & Boone, 2004) a Skúška kontinuitnej asociácie (Kondáš, 1979). Štyrmi kategóriami ukazovateľov kontinuitnej asociačnej produkcie boli verbálna dynamika, poruchy asociácií, chyby reprodukcie vlastnej asociácie a kategória celkového počtu chýb. Pri spracovaní bola použitá korelačná analýza. Výsledky štúdie nepotvrdili vzťah sebakontroly a vybraných ukazovateľov Skúšky kontinuitnej asociácie.
The research study presented herein is based on a dispositional approach, in which self-control is defined as a relatively stable personality trait. The aim of the study is to define the relationship between selfcontrol and word associations. The sample was composed of 81 participants of age between 20 and 25 years; average age was 22 years. A Self-Control Scale (Tangney, Baumeister, & Boone, 2004) and Continuous word association test (Kondáš, 1979) were used in order to establish this relationship. Indicators of continuous word associations were divided into the following four categories: verbal dynamics, abnormalities in association, errors in the reproduction of association reactions and the overall number of mistakes. Correlation analysis was used for the data analysis. The results of the study did not confirm a relationship between self-control and selected indicators of Continuous word association test.
