Reflexe Slovenska v poezii Jiřího Mahena

Autor nejprve charakterizuje vztah spisovatele Jiřího Mahena (1882–1939) k Slovensku a jeho pobyty v této zemi, ale připomíná i jeho prózy a hry, v nichž se uvedený vztah odrazil. Poté podává charakteristiku Mahenovy básnické tvorby. V tomto rámci akcentuje báseň Černovská masakra, reakci na střelbu četníků do obyvatelů vsi Černová u Ružomberku v roce 1907. Nakonec analyzuje básnickou skladbu Požár Tater (1934), v níž Mahen reflektoval přírodu Vysokých Tater a také dobovou situaci ve společnosti. Závěr studie tvoří nástin kritické odezvy této skladby v soudobých novinách a literárních časopisech.

First of all, the author characterizes the relation of the writer Jiří Mahen (1882–1939) to Slovakia and his stays in this country, but he also reminds of his prose works and plays in which the mentioned relation appeared. Then he gives the characteristics of Mahen's poetic creation. In this framework he accentuates his poem Černová Massacre, a reaction on the policemen's gunfire in the inhabitants of the village Černová, now part of Ružomberok, in 1907. Finally he analyzes his poetic composition The Fire of the Tatras (1934) in which Mahen reflected the nature of the High Tatras and also the social situation at that time. The final part of the study contains the critical response in the newspapers and literary periodicals of that time.
