Abstrakt(y)
The article deals with basic concepts of translation from the second half of the 20th century to the present. After a brief outline of the development of three basic concepts (equity, adequacy, functionalism), they are compared within the conception and development of these terms in contemporary Czech translatology, and an application of translation theories on translation teaching is discussed as well.
